There is no need for a 'reporter' to attend a deposition, meeting, or hearing. This would mean that the reporter would be paid for all the hours of attendance, in addition to the time it would then take to transcribe the audio. Depositions, meetings, and hearings are easily recoded with the use of built-in tools on a livestream platform or other mobile recording software or by someone already in attendance. Past that, you would provide Transcription Plus, LLC with a link or audio file for that recording and we simply take it from there and transcribe the audio.

Transcription Plus, LLC clients receive their unique 800 number. If the client chooses to use the 800 number for dictation, the files are automatically saved to Transcription Plus, LLC secure server once the dictation is complete.

Transcription Plus, LLC has many clients that use digital recorders, and many clients that use the toll-free telephone digital dictation. Transcription Plus, LLC provides the highest standards for confidentiality and securing digital files and the finished product.

Protection:
Transcription Plus, LLC takes a multi-faceted approach to the protection of PHI while in its domain. Physically, our technology platform is located in a state-of-the-art data center in the United States under the management contract with Transcription Gear. Access to data by company personnel is controlled both by clear protocols and contracts detailing privacy requirements as well as sophisticated username/password rulesets which ensure clear data segregation and limited access as required solely to perform work required.

Transcription Plus, LLC will customize each client's files based on their requirements. If a client wants encrypted files at rest, Transcription Plus, LLC will use the encryption software provided by the client.

Transcription Plus, LLC secure server has the capability to store and retrieve transcription records for up to one year and well beyond. Transcription Plus, LLC secure server has the capability to receive and transmit patient files through secure automated file transfers to and from a client network.

Transcription Plus, LLC can also securely transcribe directly into client’s Electronic Health Records.
